CARPRO Cool Pad Hybrid 6″ – Microfiber/Wool is A highly resilient, integrated air-cooling 3D structure acts as a breathing layer and combines pressure relief, thermoregulation, and moisture management in one high tech composed, finished product. Developed from a pure New Zealand wool/microfiber woven material backed up with a backing pad which serves as a cooling interface between the surface and the machine. Tips:
- Varies with polish but about 4 dots of polish for initial section and 2 dots after pad priming.
- Use enough pressure to avoid pad hop.
- Reduce pressure towards end of cycle to finish and reduce marring.
Precautions:
- Only recommended for use in experienced hands.
- Pay extra attention to panel edges and repaired areas.
- We do not recommend the CoolPad on freshly painted panels.
- Assess paintwork prior to polishing and measure removal rates during use.
Care:
- CARPRO Microfiber polishing pads are machine washable.
- Remember NOT to wash them in the machine with foam pads as fibers can stick to the foam pads.
- Machine or hand wash at low temperature.
Hand wash care
Soak your polishing pads in luke warm water with diluted all purpose cleaner or a dedicated pad & microfiber cleaner for about 20 minutes so as to allow the product to loosen left over and clogged compound residue. Gently with your fingers agitate the pad to release more of the compound residue. Rinse the pads thoroughly in clean fresh water.
Lay your pads out to dry in a cool place, never directly in the sun and lay the pad with the velcro facing upwards, so to alleviate the velcro from delaminating and pealing off with the weight of the water.
